Notary Services

Traditional Notary Services include the administering of oaths and affirmations, taking acknowledgements, attesting to photocopies, verifying vehicle identification numbers, and certifying the opening of safe deposit boxes.

A Notary Public is a State Officer granted a commission by the Governor of Florida to perform Notorial Acts.

What does a Notary do?

The primary purpose of a Notary is to serve as a neutral witness and party in the prevention and deterrence of fraud.

This is why any notary will ask to see a picture ID, such as your driver license. Our primary function is to make sure you are you, and the person who is supposed to be signing the document. We also keep a journal, or a log of all signings, including the date, address, type of document, your ID number, and your signature. As a result, we have proof or evidence in the event there is ever a question about the validity of a notarized document. Unfortunately, fraud is a serious issue in our society. But the notary is there on the front lines to prevent it.
